As a family-owned and operated business, the friendly and knowledgeable staff at DiJune’s Liquor is able to provide our customers with the personal and professional service they have come to expect since 1966.
DiJune’s is proud to be one of Rochester’s few remaining neighborhood businesses. In 1933, the owner’s grandfather opened a cigar shop on the corner of Plymouth Ave and Jay Street. In 1947, he moved the business into an old milk store on Driving Park. Shortly after in 1953, he acquired a fresh fruits and vegetables grocery store in this same neighborhood. This neighborhood truly is our home, and will remain our home.
We believe that “mom and pop” businesses are critical to preserving our neighborhoods as well as the community-at-large. That’s why proposed legislation to legalize the sale of wine in grocery stores is threatening the survival of many small businesses throughout Rochester and New York State.
While the big box stores may seem to offer better pricing, selection, and convenience, the small business owner has cultivated a relationship with his customers and his distributors to ensure the right products are getting onto the shelves.
At DiJune’s, our customers have the ability to sample certain new products before purchasing them. If we don’t carry a certain item, we can order it and because we buy in volume from our distributors, we’re able to offer pricing that’s competitive with many of the big box liquor stores.
If you’re planning a big event and aren’t sure how much liquor to buy, we will work within your budget to ensure you get the correct amount for your needs without overcompensating. In addition, You have ATM ACCESS 24 HOURS A DAY, and all the lottery games, Instant, Daily, and Quick Draw for your convenience.
